If you’re a Nature Talking family, you probably know that our sessions take place along Bracken Creek, a special lil branch of Merri Creek. ๐ŸŒ€๐Ÿฉต But what you might not know is that there’s a local volunteer group caring for this exact area. Friends of Bracken Creek is a sub-group of @friendsofmerricreek a team of friendly souls working to protect and restore the Bracken Creek area. They run regular events like rubbish clean-ups, planting days, and other community gatherings, all aimed at keeping the creek happy and healthy ๐Ÿงก You can follow their work and stay connected through the Friends of Merri Creek Instagram and Facebook pages x Here are a few vids captured by Mike at their last clean-up day ๐ŸŒฑ๐Ÿ’š
