If you’re a Nature Talking family, you probably know that our sessions take place along Bracken Creek, a special lil branch of Merri Creek. 🌀🩵 But what you might not know is that there’s a local volunteer group caring for this exact area. Friends of Bracken Creek is a sub-group of @friendsofmerricreek a team of friendly souls working to protect and restore the Bracken Creek area. They run regular events like rubbish clean-ups, planting days, and other community gatherings, all aimed at keeping the creek happy and healthy 🧡 You can follow their work and stay connected through the Friends of Merri Creek Instagram and Facebook pages x Here are a few vids captured by Mike at their last clean-up day 🌱💚
