Dyad Sessions :Timeline, Pricing & Service Details

Term 2, 2024 intake

The Dyad program includes both one-to-one support (like assessments and planning) at $193.99 per hour, and shared learning sessions at $130 per hour.

A typical term of therapy usually involves an investment of around $4,500-$5,000. This can vary a bit depending on what extras might help your child - things like meeting with other therapists, creating NDIS reports, or travel time to your child's learning space as well as the length of the term. The exact cost for your child and family will be sent to you in a service agreement following your intake form submission.

Take a look at our detailed time breakdown below, if you want to understand how this charge is broken down.

Getting Started & Payment Process

Once you submit your intake form, we'll provide you with a detailed service agreement outlining the exact investment for your child's term of therapy. We do fortnightly invoicing, which begins from your first assessment meeting and covers all therapy services delivered during that period.

Session Flexibility

The Social Explorers program is designed as a relationship-based journey, where two children work together to build their social communication skills. This unique paired approach makes regular attendance especially important for both children's progress. We understand life can be unpredictable. If you need to adjust a session time:

  • With three days' notice, we'll try our best to reschedule, working around both families' and therapist availability

  • If rescheduling isn't possible, we ensure you don't miss out on learning opportunities by providing:

    • Detailed session notes

    • A video breakdown of the strategies covered

    • Resources to practice at home

Making Sense of Program Costs

We believe in keeping things clear and simple when it comes to costs. Here's how our pricing works for different families:

Private and Self-Managed NDIS Clients

  • One-to-one support time (like assessments and planning): $193.99 per hour

  • Shared learning sessions: $130 per hour per child

Plan-Managed NDIS Clients

For families using plan-managed NDIS funding, you'll receive two separate invoices. The main invoice goes to your plan manager and covers the NDIS portion - that's $193.99 per hour for one-to-one support time, and $96.99 per session for our shared learning times. You'll also get a separate gap payment invoice that comes directly to you. This covers the difference to reach our full rate - $40 per hour for one-to-one time and $53.01 per session for shared learning. We send these out every fortnight to keep things simple and regular. Just let us know on your intake form that you're plan-managed, and we'll make sure everything's clear from the start.
